This is a lovely activity to generate positive thinking. It is a little bit more fiddly than previously posted videos (well it was for me, at least!). These would make a lovely gift for Mother's or Father's day. But for us it is really important to come up with positive statements about yourself and then keep the pinwheel near your bed so that you can be reminded of your positive qualities every day.
There are various resources and sources of support for children, young people and adults produced by Greater Manchester Combined Authorities and the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership. We've posted 2 below but please go to this website for much, much more.
This is a really quick activity that encourages reflection on kind thoughts towards others and self. The bubbles are imaginary but you could do the exercise with normal bubble wands.

As many of you know this pprogramme includes various touch therapies such as Reflexology and The Bowen Technique which we will not be able to offer for some time. We can, however, offer 1-1 coaching, counselling, creative, play and IEMT to anyone 18 and under from Rochdale.
We genuinely want to know how you are getting on at this time and we want to offer whatever support we can. Please take the survey below and get in touch if there's anything we can do - even if it's just for a chat.

We know that many of the children and young people that were accessing our service in person experienced high levels of anxiety. We want to be able to continue to support those children and young people remotely through this blog and Facebook. Developing this ability makes a huge difference to how resilient young people are. This resource comes from a website called Help 4 Hurting Kids and it is chock-full of amazing resources. As many of you will know it is Autism Awareness week this week and tomorrow in Autism Awareness Day. So I thought I'd take this opportunity to promote an online resource that I have personally learnt a lot from over the las few years. It's called Early Years TV (the brainchiild of Kathy Brodie) and is geared at Early Years poviders. Each week Kathy posts an interview with an expert in various disciplines and concepts. It is free to sign up but you can pay for access to all videos. This week the interview is with Chloé Hayden who is 22 years old from Australia, diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome at the age of 13, who spends her life advocating for children on the spectrum through interactive, fun videos and blog posts.
